In the stream of Ramzan festival celebrations, today the rate of mutton is very high in Chennai when compared to normal days.
In normal days, one kilo of mutton has been sold at the cost ranging from Rs.460 to Rs.480. But today, one kilo of mutton costs Rs.520. Also, boneless mutton pieces are available at a cost of Rs.600 per kilo.
In the same way, the cost of chicken seems elevated:
• Chicken with Skin costs Rs 160
• Dressed Chicken costs Rs 180
• Chennai Chicken Alive costs Rs 115
