Sporadic showers in parts of Chennai and Tamil Nadu

More rains predicted in next 48 hours. The Meteorological Centre here predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places over south Tamil Nadu.
Rain or thundershower would occur at most of the places over Tamil Nadu during next 24 hours, a bulletin released by the Centre said.
“Yesterday’s low pressure area over west-central and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha Coast persists on Thursday over the same area at 8.30 am on Thursday,” the bulletin state
