KVB launches multicurrency travel card

Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has launched multicurrency travel card, a prepaid reloadable card offering the benefit of loading three currencies in one card.American dollar, Euro, and the Singapore dollar.
The card would offer a convenient, safe, and hassle-free expenses abroad. The card empowered the customers to do purchases at VISA-enabled merchant establishments or to draw money from VISA-enabled ATMs while travelling abroad. The multicurrency card will automatically select the next available currency, in the following order of USD, EURO, and SGD.
The multicurrency travel card being a prepaid card the exchange rate was guaranteed and the cardholder need not to worry about exchange rate fluctuations during the travel. It was safer than the traditional traveller’s cheque or debit and credit card as it is a chip pin based card. The customers were provided access to KVB Net Banking through which they could also check the balance available in the card.
