Tickets for the Lord’s Darshan at Tirupathi temple – can now be done at Post Offices!

TTD (Thirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam) Board has decided to introduce the facility of advance purchase of Rs. 300/- Darshan tickets at all Post Offices to help the rural devotees.
TTD has entered into a contract agreement with Post Offices on this arrangement.
This facility will be introduced from 1st November.
In the 1st stage, this facility will be introduced in the state of Andhra Pradesh. If successful, it will be extended to the entire country.
There have heavy rains in Tirupathi for the last few days. However, the rush of devotees has not subsided. From 6.00 Am till 5.00 PM yesterday, around 35850 devotees had Drashan. Even then, the 22 waiting compartments were full with devotees. The queue line extended to 1.5 km distance outside the waiting complex.
