New ostrich gallery at Vandalur zoo

From a very close range at the Arignar Anna Zoological Park visitors can watch ostrich at its enclosure .The zoo authorities have set up an exclusive ostrich gallery to help visitors observe the activities of ostrich up close. The gallery has been set up with chain links so that there is no disturbance both to the birds as well as to the visitors. There are about 13 ostriches at the zoo. Visitors consider this as a new experience as they can now see the bird in such close proximity.
