A.R Rahman’s concert in North America

A.R Rahman debuted as music composer in the film Roja directed by Mani Rathinam. The song Chinna Chinna Aasai is still lingering in one’s mind even now.
The 48-year-old is also the subject of a new documentary about his music, titled “Jai Ho”, which premiered on Februray 25 at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York.
Rahman has won two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe and six honorary doctorates.
He has delivered landmark scores in films like "Roja", "Bombay", "Dil Se..", "Taal", "Lagaan", "Delhi 6", "Slumdog Millionaire", "127 Hours", "Rockstar", "Highway", "Million Dollar Arm" and "The Hundred-Foot Journey".
