Preventive measures for detection & treatment of Swine-flu: Minister’s Initiative!

Tamil Nadu government’s Human Welfare Minister, Dr. Vijayabhaskar presided over a conference on the arrangements regarding prevention of spreading of swine-flu in Tamil Nadu on 24th January & 6th February.
As a follow-up, there was a 3rd conference conducted at the the King’s Institute for disinfection and research yesterday (Wednesday, 4th March) presided by the minister, Dr. Vijayabhaskar.
Several senior health officials from the government participated.
There was a detailed discussion on the various measures taken by the government for prevention of swine-flu.
As all arrangements have been made including various preventive action and prompt treatment of the swine-fly patients, the public has been asked not to be too anxious about swine-flu.
A demonstration was conducted explaining how to wash hands in healthy way. The minister visited the King’s institute laboratory and inspected the arrangements.
Senior officials were also present during the inspection.
