TNPSC Group 1 notification to be issued within 10 days

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Chairman Balasubramaniam said that the certificate verification for the Group 4 posts will be completed by 3rd August and the Group 1 results will be published in 10 days. Examinations were conducted for Group D services for the vacancies mentioned below on 21st December 2014.
Junior Assistants - 2172 posts
Bill Collector Grade - I 22 posts
Typist - 1683 posts
Steno Typist Grade - 331 posts
Field Surveyor - 702 posts
Draftsman - 53 posts
7,030 candidates were called for certificate verification based on the marks and merit list. The certificate verification began yesterday at TNPSC office in Broadway, Chennai. Except the candidates no one was allowed. TNPSC Chairman Balasubramaniam personally verified the certificate of the candidates.
TNPSC Chairman Balasubramaniam while speaking to the media said, “Everyday the certificates of 200 candidates are verified. The verification will take place till 3rd of August. Verification will not take place on Saturday, Sunday and other public holidays. Vacancies for Group 1 are to be filled up soon. The notification will be issued within 10 days. Similarly the engineer vacancies of the highway department will be also be filled up. Notification regarding this will also be issued soon.”
