If any outsider interferes in Anna University counselling ,action will be taken: Vice Chancellor warns

Anna University engineering college counselling will commence on 1st July. Anna University on behalf of Tamil Nadu Government is holding the counselling.
Anna University vice chancellor Mr Rajaram while speaking to the media said, “ So far 18 counseling have taken place. Now we will be having our 19th counselling. Arrangements are being made for this. There will be a kiosk for banks to arrange loans to the students. 1 Lakhs 54 thousands and 238 candidates have applied. All arrangements will be complete by June 25. Year after year, such arrangements are made at a significant cost. There will be 50 counselling terminals at the premises. They can check whether their applications have reached us by logging into University website. Counselling for sports quota will take place on June 28 and for the differently-abled category on June 29. General counselling will begin on July 1 and last till July 31. Random numbers help generate merit list and settle ties. Factors such as percentage marks in Maths followed by Physics and in the fourth optional subject, followed by date of birth and finally the random number is evaluated to resolve a tie in merit list. No recommendations will be entertained and no outsider will be permitted in the counselling place.”
