Rains expected in Tamil Nadu for the next 2 days

The depression over northwest Bay of Bengal off South Odisha coast has moved northwestwards, crossing south Odisha coast between Gopalpur and Puri. This did not have any effect on Tamil Nadu.
At this juncture South West Monsoon is getting intensified. There was heavy rainfall in Ooty and Coonor. There is also heavy rainfall in Coimbatore, Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli districts.
For the next 2 days there will be isolated rain or thundershowers over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition would be generally cloudy. Rain or thundershowers may occur in some areas. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 36 and 28 degree Celsius respectively.
