Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Saxena speaks about R K Nagar by-elections

Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Saxena while explaining the poll arrangements at R K Nagar by-elections said, “230 booths have been set up in the constituency. Elaborate security arrangements have been made and all steps including videography to monitor the by-poll are in place. Electoral Assistance System, a mobile application, would be introduced for voters to locate their respective booths and check details in electoral roll. The booth slip for RK Nagar constituency would have polling booth map on its backside so that the voter could reach the booth easily. The front side of the slip would have the small picture of the voter and EPIC card number etc. Booth slips would be issued to the voters from June 22. For details regarding booths etc type EPIC1 and send to 9444123456.”
Polling will be held on June 27 and counting of votes will be carried out on June 30.
