Action on hospitals who do not inform Chennai Corporation about dengue fever

Chennai Corporation has warned the hospitals that stern action will be taken if they don`t inform the Corporation about dengue fevers.
The 505 hospitals in Chennai should now and then inform the Chennai Corporation about the dengue affected patients but 165 hospitals did not divulge any details. Hence Chennai Corporation has sent notice to these hospitals seeking the details about dengue fever patients within 48 hours or otherwise legal action will be taken against these hospitals.
Dengue fever impact has become more in Chennai. The Chennai Corporation has mentioned that 55 people are affected by dengue from January till now. The Chennai Corporation has also mentioned that there could be more number of cases than said.
50 places have been identified as dengue prone areas. Necessary actions are being taken to prevent the disease.
