Simran to don the role of a cop

The film Mardaani which was released last year was a great hit in the box office and was on par with top heroes` film. The film showed another face of the society where women go missing and the atrocities against them.
Rani Mukherjee who donned the police officer role won laurels for her acting. A similar type film is being produced in Tamil. Simran is donning the police officer role. Simran who settled after her marriage became slimmer and astounded everyone. She donned a small role in the film Trisha Illana Nayanthara.
Now she is gearing up to don the lead role. Debutante director Gowri Shankar will be directing the film. He was an ad film maker. He while speaking said, Simran plays the lead and she`ll be seen as a cop. The movie will be a lot like the Bollywood film Mardaani. The movie has some elements of science fiction. The shooting of the film will commence during the month of November.
