Govt announces another shuffling in IAS officers postings

Swaran Singh, formerly Principal Secretary and Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, who was shifted within a month of posting by the State government, is now the Principal Secretary\Commissioner of Land Administration. He is posted in the place of M.P. Nirmala holding additional charge.
In other postings ordered by the government, S. Murugaia, Additional Commissioner of Revenue Administration, was transferred as Transport Commissioner in the place of Harmander Singh, who was posted as Commissioner of Minorities Welfare in the place of M. Malik Feroze Khan.
Mr. Khan was posted as Commissioner of Handlooms and Textiles in the place of V. Chandrasekaran.
Rajesh Lakhoni shifted
Rajesh Lakhoni, MD, Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, was transferred as Director of Land Reforms in the place of A. Mohammed Aslam who was posted as Commissioner of Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities in the place of P. Annamalai. Mr. Annamalai is now Registrar of Co-operative Societies in the place of Jatindra Nath Swain holding additional charge.
Jothi Nirmala, Project Director, Tsunami Project Implementation Unit, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, was transferred as Director of Social Welfare in the place of R. Vasuki who was made Joint Secretary, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, in the place of K.S. Palanisami.
Dharmendra Pratap Yadav, Director, Town Panchayats, was transferred as IG Registration in the place of Apoorva, posted as Project Director, Tsunami Project Implementation Unit, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department in the place of Jothi Nirmala.
V.K. Shanmugham, Joint Secretary, Agriculture Department, was posted as Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Administration) in the place of T.N. Venkatesh whose services are placed at the disposal of Corporation of Chennai for appointment as its Joint Commissioner (Education) in the place of M. Balaji.
P. Amudha, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Public (Elections) Department, was transferred as Commissioner of Urban Land Ceiling and Urban land Tax in the place of N. Mathivanan, posted as Project Director, Irrigated Agriculture Modernisation and Water Resources Management , and ex-officio joint Secretary, PWD, in the place of Vibhu Nayar holding additional charge.
S. Vijayakumar, Project Director, Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project, was transferred as Commissioner of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj in the place of T. Udhayachandran.
J. Jeyakanthan, Special Officer, CM`s Special Cell, was posted as Joint Commissioner of Revenue Administration (Disaster Management) in t the place of K. Nagarajan.
P. Seetharaman, Project Director, Post Tsunami Sustainable Livelihood Programme, was transferred as Joint Secretary, Home, Prohibition and Excise Department, in the place of Jayashree Muralidharan.
K. Manivasan, former Chairman and MD, Tamil Nadu Minerals Ltd., was posted as Commissioner of Treasuries and Accounts, in the place of C. Rajendran, transferred as Commissioner, Government Data Centre in the place of Sudeep Jain.
Ramesh Chandra Meena, Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, was transferred as Commissioner of Technical Education in the place of Kumar Jayant holding additional charge.
M. Chandrasekaran, Director of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, was posted as Director of Town Panchayats in the place of Dharmendra Pratap yadav.
V. Rajaraman, formerly Deputy Secretary, (Monitoring unit), CM`s office, was appointed Collector, Sivaganga, in the place of V. Sampath transferred. Orders posting V. Shantha as Collector, Sivaganga District, stand cancelled.
J. Chandrakumar, Joint Secretary, Revenue Department, was made Director, Backward Classes in the place of Malik Feroze Khan.
The services of K.Gopal, MD, Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women Ltd., are placed at the disposal of the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board for appointment as its MD in the place of Rajesh Lakhoni.
The services of Sudeep Jain, Commissioner of Government Data Centre, are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency for appointment as its Chairman and MD in the place of R.Christodas Gandhi.
The services of T.K. Ponnusamy, Joint Secretary, Energy Department, are placed at the disposal of the Coimbatore Corporation for appointment as its Commissioner in the place of Anshul Mishra.
