Honda Activa is most sold two wheeler this year

The Honda Activa has created history by becoming the highest selling two wheeler in India for 2016. This is for the period between January and June. Interestingly, the Activa has surpassed motor cycles as well.
The nearest competitor to the Activa is over a lakh units behind in terms of sales. Between January and June this year, Activa as sold 1,338,015 units from January-June 2016. The highest-selling motorcycle for the corresponding period has sold 1,233,725 units, giving the Activa a lead of a little over 1,00,000 units.
Spekaing about this, a senior executive at Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, Over the period of January-June 2016, close to 2 lakh more units of Activa were sold, as compared to January-June 2015. Activa today represents the metamorphosis of the society.
