After over 20 days to be precise the pattern is somewhat good to interpret rains in Chennai city and surrounding areas. Lot of unstability is seen in the lower level winds (refer the 850 hpa winds or winds above 1.5 kms from surface) . Moreover no Low Pressure Area or Upper Air Circulation are nearby to complicate the prediction of rains. Hence, with some authority we can say Chennai has high probability of rains on monday.

Vellore - More spell of rains can be expected today after the heavy spell on Sunday.
Kancheepuram is perfectly placed for rains today.
Bangalore - Another day of rains to hit the city.
Salem - When ever it rains in Bangalore, expect rains here too.
Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri belt to see good rains and also Villipuram-Tiruvannamalai will get rains.
Ooty, Valpari and Munnar belt can get good spell of rains.
Chances of rains in Trichy and Madurai too.
Delta regions such as Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Tiruvarur, Vedaranayam has also chance of rains.
