Rains expected in Tamil Nadu

There have been rains in Tamil Nadu situated near Western Ghats due to south west monsoon. There have been rains also in other parts of Tamil Nadu due to convection. At this juncture, the Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned that there will be rains in Tamil Nadu today.
An official of Meteorological Centre said: For the last three days, there has been lesser rainfall. In the next 24 hours, rains or thundershowers are expected in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to convection. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky will be cloudy. There will be rains in one or two areas in the evening or night.
