Jobs: Air India plans to fill 2000 vacant posts

Information is gathered that Air India, India’s premier Airline Service Company, has planned to recruit 500 flyers and 1500 pilots during the next 2 to 3 years.
A senior Air India official informed that the number of posts to be filled up will vary according to the prevailing situations. Depending on the expansion plans of Air India, there may be a requirement for recruiting 700 flyers. It is planned to recruit them in the next 2 to 3 years.
From last August till date, around 250 employees have been recruited. It was planned to recruit 500 more.This information was shared by General Manager N Sivaramakrishnan.
Last year, Air India recruited 200 Trainee pilots. 78 trainees have been selected.
