Rains in the next 24 hours

South west monsoon has intensified in Andhra, Telangana and Karnataka. Though there will be less impact of the monsoon in Tamil Nadu, there have been rains in the inner districts of Tamil Nadu.
At this juncture, the Chennai Meteorological Centre has announced that there will be rains in the next 24 hours in the inner districts and coastal districts of Tamil Nadu.
An official of the Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned: There have been rains in many places of Tamil Nadu for the last four days. In the next 24 hours, there will be rains or thundershowers in the inner districts of Tamil Nadu due to convection. Apart from this, there will be rains in some places of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky will be cloudy. There are chances of rains in the evening or night. There will be squally wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph in the sea. Fishermen should be cautious while venturing into sea.
