Dates for TNPSC Group-4 examinations

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has already released a detailed timetable chart for the various examinations, including the data such as the examination date for a specific post, dates of preliminary and main examinations, dates of the interview, etc.
The announcements for various examinations are made accordingly and the examinations are conducted.
Most of the posts for which TNPSC conducts examination fall under the Group-4 category.
As per the timetable released by TNPSC, the announcement for Group-4 examinations should have been released during the 3rd week of June.However, this has not yet been released. The candidates preparing for the Group-4 examination are eagerly waiting for the dates of the examination.
The Secretary of TNPSC M Vijayakumar explained to the press reporters that around 5000 posts are to be filled up through Group-4 examinations. An announcement will be made within a week.
The posts of Junior Assistants, Typists, Stenographers (Grade 3), Land Surveyor, and draftsmen are filled up through Group-4 examination.
Candidates who have completed 10th Standard can write the Group-4 examination. They must be in the age group 18-30.
Age limit concession for BC candidates is 32. For SC/ST and destitute widows of all categories, age limit concession is 35 years.However, if the candidates have the minimum academic qualification such as +2, graduates, and post-graduates, there is no age limit for candidates under the government quota and also destitute widows of all categories.
