TCS and Infosys in Forbes Super 50 list

TCS and Infosys, the leading Information Technology concerns in India, are placed in the list of Super 50 companies released by Forbes.
However, leading companies like Tata Motors and Hindustan Universal are not in this list.
Pharma industry companies like Sun Pharma and Lupin, HDFC and Axis Bank are in the list.
This list is released for the 2nd year. 14 new companies including Infosys, Maruti Suzuki, Bharath Forge, Alembic Pharma, Gillette India, Bajaj Fiance, HDFC Bank, Kansai Nerolac, and LIC Housing Finance are in this list.
Tata Motors, MRF, Dr, Reddy’s, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Hindustan Lever which were in the last year list, have not found a place in this year list.
Forbes India Editor Sourav Majumdar explained that this year’s list is based on aspects such as investment acumen, innovations, and the customers.
