Who will be the next head of LIC?

The post of the Chairman of the leading public sector insurance company in the country, Life Insurance Corporation of India, currently vacant, is yet to be appointed.
The former head of LIC, S K Roy, announced that he was to retire when he still had 2 years of service. His successor is yet to be appointed.
However, for the 2 vacant posts of Managing Directors, 8 Executive Directors have been called for interview.
LIC has one Chairman and 3 managing Directors. Currently, there are only 2 Managing Directors - V K Sharma and Usha Sangwan, The third managing Director, S P Mainak, retired from services early this year. So far, no one has been appointed in his place.
As the 3rd managing Director post still remains vacant, it is expected that one of the 2 current Managing Directors may be appointed by the central government as the Chairman.of LIC.
Information is gathered that the interview for 2 managing Directors is to be held shortly awaiting approval from the Central Ministry of Finance.
