Aishwarya Dhanush gets appointed as UN Ambassador of India

Aishwarya R Dhanush is now appointed as the United Nations Women’s Goodwill Ambassador of India. She initially worked assisting director Selvaraghavan, who is the elder brother to actor Dhanush.
Now, Aishwarya R Dhanush, the daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth and Dhanush’s wife is appointed in the above mentioned position. She made her entry as a filmmaker with the film 3 starring Dhanush and Shruthi Hassan. The film was average at the box office, despite the massive hit of Why this kolaveri that went across the world. She then tried one more directional venture with Vai Raja Vai which received a better response from the viewers.
She is at present busy with her works on Cinema Veeram, a documentary showcasing what it is to be a stunt choreographer in the Kollywood industry. On the other hand, she is penning a book about her father. The book is titled The Rise of Shivaji Rao Gaekwad - a bus conductor from Bangalore to the biggest superstar of the country. Once she wraps up with the book, it may probably be made into a flick.
Aishwarya, in addition to being into filmmaking, is also doing a lot of philanthropic activities, aiding the underprivileged. This serves to be the reason for her being appointed as the United Nations Women’s Goodwill Ambassador of India.
