How to avoid snoring?

Snoring is not a disease like most of us think. It is just a defect in us. Anyone may snore, regardless of age or gender. The sound produced while sleeping is what we basically call snoring. Though it seems like a very silly issue, it leads to devastating consequences. People around us may even start hating us for snoring.

No worries, read on a few easy methods of controlling your snore.
  • Cold and cough are among the key reasons for snoring. Steaming will largely help in getting rid of cold. Place a bowl full of hot water. Add a few drops of plant oil like eucalyptus. Close your head with a towel or large piece of cloth and start inhaling the hot steam
  • Make use of a heightened pillow while sleeping
  • Do not consume fat rich dinner like pizza, burger, parotta, etc
  • Those who snore should refrain from going to bed immediately after dinner. Also, smoking after dinner is to be avoided too
  • By reducing weight, overweighed snorers can control snoring
  • There are different kinds of mentholated topical creams available in the market. Apply it over the chest area while going to bed. This will help discarding snoring.
