Festive season special: Import Tax reduced for wheat, potato and palm oil

With the onset of the festive season, the central government has reduced the Import Tax on wheat, potato, and palm oil.
This measure has been taken in order to contain their prices and enable distribute the required demand.
The Central Ministry Kalal and Customs informed:
The Import Tax on potato has been reduced from 30 percent to 20 percent till October.
The Import Tax on wheat has been reduced from 25 percent to 10 percent till February.
The Import Tax on unrefined palm oil potato has been reduced from 12.5 percent to 7.5 percent.
The Import Tax on refined palm oil been reduced from 20 percent to 15 percent.
