Narayanaswami Srinivasan

Narayanaswami Srinivasan is the former Chairman of International Cricket Council. He has also served as the President of BCCI which is the body that governs Indian cricket on the whole. Narayanaswami also serves as the Managing Director of India Cements Limited.
There are a lot of scams that Srinivasan has been suspected and investigated about. This includes the IPL cricket matches, corruption in partnership with Jagan Mohan Reddy, etc. Owing to such complaints, the Supreme Court had ordered him to quit as the President of BCCI so that they could better investigate the IPL betting scam.
After this, in June 216, he got elected as the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association President for which the election took place on 86th annual general meeting.
Srinivasan is a native of Tirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu. His father is T.S.Narayanaswami who was among the first employees with the company called Indian Cements. Srinivasan then pursued B.Sc. from Loyola College and following this, he completed Master of Science from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, United States in Chemical Engineering stream.
It was the then BCCI President A.C. Muthaiah who brought him to the cricket administration. Before acquiring the position as President of BCCI, he served as the Secretary as the successor of Shashank Manohar in 2011. After his period, it was Jagmohan Dalmia who served as the Secretary in 2014.
