Changes in the pattern of train services

Major engineering works are to be taken up for modification of Arakkonam yard which will involve insertion of points and removal of points including diamond cross overs, cut & connections and dismantling and extension of platforms, etc. To facilitate these engineering works changes will be made in the pattern of train services as detailed below.
ON 21.04.2018, SATURDAY
A.The following suburban train services will be partially cancelled on 21.04.2018. MMC – Tiruttani EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 10.00 & 11.45 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Arakkonam – Tiruttani. The trains will run from MMC to Arakkonam only.
Tiruttani – MMC EMU locals, scheduled to leave Tiruttani at 13.15 & 14.30 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Tiruttani – Arakkonam. The trains will run from Arakkonam to MMC only.
B.The following suburban train service will be regulated on 21.04.2018.
Velachery – Tiruttani EMU local, scheduled to leave Velachery at 11.20 hrs., will be regulated suitably at Arakkonam.C.The following suburban train service will be rerouted on 21.04.2018. MMC – Tirupati EMU Fast Local, scheduled to leave MMC at 09.50 hrs., will be rerouted via Chitteri.
D.The following express train service will be fully cancelled on 21.04.2018.
Train No.16053 Chennai Central – Tirupati express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 14.15 hrs., will be fully cancelled on 21.04.2018.
E.The following express train service will be partially cancelled on 21.04.2018.
Train No.16054 Tirupati – Chennai Central express, scheduled to leave Tirupati at 10.00 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Tiruttani – Chennai Central. The train will run from Tirupati to Tiruttani only. Upon reaching Tiruttani, the train will run as passenger
special to Tirupati, leaving Tiruttani at 14.45 hrs.
F.The following express train services will be rescheduled on 21.04.2018.
1.Train No.11042 Chennai Central – Mumbai CSMT express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 12.20 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave Chennai Central late by 1 hour.
2.Train No.12679 Chennai Central – Coimbatore Intercity express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 14.30 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave Chennai Central late by 1 hour.
3.Train No.12607 Chennai Central – Bengaluru Lalbagh express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 15.35 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave Chennai Central late by 1 hour.
G.The following passenger train services will be fully cancelled on 21.04.2018.
Train No.56013 Arakkonam – Vellore Cantonment passenger train, scheduled to leave Arakkonam at 13.05 hrs. Train No.56014 Vellore Cantonment – Arakkonam passenger train, scheduled to leave Vellore Cantonment at 09.40 hrs.
ON 22.04.2018, SUNDAY
A.The following suburban train services will be partially cancelled on 22.04.2018.
MMC – Tiruttani EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 07.05, 10.00 & 11.45 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Arakkonam – Tiruttani. The trains will run from MMC to Arakkonam only.
Tiruttani – MMC EMU locals, scheduled to leave Tiruttani at 09.40, 13.15 & 14.30 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Tiruttani – Arakkonam. The trains will run from Arakkonam to MMC only.
B.The following suburban train service will be regulated on 22.04.2018.
Chennai Beach – Tiruttani EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 12.10 hrs., will be regulated suitably at Arakkonam. Tirupati – MMC EMU Fast Local, scheduled to reach MMC at 17.05 hrs., will be regulated suitably at Ponpadi (near Tiruttani).
C. The following suburban train service will be rerouted on 22.04.2018.
MMC – Tirupati EMU Fast Local, scheduled to leave MMC at 09.50 hrs., will be rerouted via Chitteri.
D.The following express train service will be fully cancelled on 22.04.2018.
Train No.16053 Chennai Central – Tirupati express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 14.15 hrs., will be fully cancelled on 22.04.2018.
E.The following express train service will be partially cancelled on 22.04.2018.
Train No.16054 Tirupati – Chennai Central express, scheduled to leave Tirupati at 10.00 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Tiruttani – Chennai Central. The train will run from Tirupati to Tiruttani only. Upon reaching Tiruttani, the train will run as passenger
special to Tirupati, leaving Tiruttani at 14.45 hrs.
F.The following express train service will be rescheduled on 22.04.2018.
Train No.11042 Chennai Central – Mumbai CSMT express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 12.20 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave Chennai Central late by 1 hour and 30 minutes.
