Chennai Metro Rail Services extended till 11 PM

There has been a gradual but substantial increase in the number of passengers travelling in the Chennai Metro Rail every day.
Presently, in one section. Metro trains are operated on a single track from Chennai Central Railway Station to Airport via Egmore, Anna Nagar, Koyambedu, and Vadapaani. Apart from the Metro Rail also operates from Chennai Teynampet DMS to Airport.
It is possible to reach the destination quicker by taking the Chennai Metro Rail. So, lots of passengers prefer this and travel. As the important festival of Deepavali approaches, there has been a substantial increase in the number of passengers travelling in Chennai Metro Rail.
Presently, the Metro Rails are operated from 6.00 AM until 10.00 PM. However, it is expected that there would be a substantial increase in the number of passengers in the Metro Rail due to the public travelling to different places for the Deepavali festival.
So, the services of the Metro Rail is being increased on 2 days – 2nd and 3rd November. So, an additional number of trains will run. The Chennai Metro Rail administration has announced that the Metro Rail Services operation would be extended till 11.00 PM.
