Some important aspects to be noted while shifting the residence

It is always with an enthusiastic note that most of the public experience while shifting to a new residence. However, there are some challenges in the shifting operation! The most prominent aspect is to carry most of the delicate and other items to the new place without any damage and in a safe condition. Here are some suggestions to ensure the safe shifting to a new residence with all iht important family belongings:
Use Different sizes of boxes as required
It is not at all possible to pack all the various items in boxes of same size/shape. So, it is better to procure cartons or boxes of different shapes and sizes. Though mostly cartons, which are primarily used for carrying grocery items, are used in the shifting operation, it is better to procure some better special cardboard or cartons which are stranger to carry the heavier items. By packing in different sizes of cartons as required by the different items, a lot of problems can get solved.
In some cases, boxes may not be needed
It is not necessary that the entire household items must be packed only in cartons or boxes. Some items can be moved as they are without the need to empty them. For example, some items such as files and important documents can be kept inside the almirahs or bureau as they are kept and be shifted. However, it is better to ensure that the almirahs/bureau is locked safe and proper! This would prevent the need to trace all the impotent documents/files after shifting to the new residence.
Items which can be dismantled can be easier to shift
It is easier to dismantle the assembled items and carry and reassemble again after shifting. For example, items like cots, wooden shelves, almirahs, and sofas can be removed as different parts while shifting and reassembled in the new place.
It is not necessary to pack items on a room-wise basis
It may not be a wise idea to segregate the items on a room-wise basis as per the locations decided in the new residence. It may not be easy to organise as well! So, it is better to pack the items in boxes as suited and pack them. This would make it easier to open these boxes and rearrange the items in the new residence as required.
It is not possible to rearrange everything in a single day!
It is damn certain that all the items packed and shifted to the new residence can all be set up again in a single day! So, it is wiser to plan a chart to rearrange a few items every day and complete the rearrangement, say, within 7 or 10 days. It is better to make a list of items in each box with identity written on the top cover of the box.
Make a detailed list
Write down the names of the items packed in each box/carton on the surface of with a marker pen. It is even better to make this list readable on the cover front of the box in more details. For example, while packing a carton of clothes, it is better to write the details of the name of the persons whose clothes rather than simply mentioning ‘clothes’. This would definitely easily facilitate while rearranging things in the new residence.
