10th Standard Public exam on language will be in the afternoon session

The State Government Examination Board has reconfirmed that only the examination on language will be conducted in an afternoon session during the 10h Standard Public Examination.
As per the State Government of Tamil Nadu syllabus and programme, public examinations are conducted from 10th Standard to 12th Standard. The timetable for these public examinations is announced well in advance at the start of the academic year itself.
As per the announcement released on 11th June, the public examinations for 10th Standard are set to commence on 14th March 2019 and conclude on 29th March. Out of these examinations, only the examination on language will be conducted during the afternoon session. The rest of the public examination on other subjects will all be conducted in the forenoon sessions.
Accordingly, the examinations on the 1st and 2nd question papers of Tamil and English will be held respectively on 14th, 18th, 20th, and 22nd March from 2.00 PM to 4.45 PM.
The Mathematics examination will be conducted on 25th March. Science examination will be on 27th March. Social Science will be on 29th March. Elective Language will be on 23rd March. All these examinations will be conducted from 10.00 AM to 12.45 PM
In order to avoid any possible confusion among the students regarding this, the Joint Director of the Department State Government Examination Board, Amuthavalli, has informed that the timetables must be displayed on all school notice boards.
