13 IPS officers reshuffled by the TN government now

On Thursday, 10th January 2019, the state government announced another reshuffle of as many as 13 IPS officers and this attracted the attention of many. The reshuffle also included 2 joint commissioners of police in Chennai. It must be noted that Mr. T. S. Anbhu, JCP or joint commissioner of police (East) has been posted as JC, Central Crime Branch and he replaced Mr. Balakrishnan who has been posted in the place of Mr. Anbhu.

E.T. Samson, DCP, Flower Bazaar, has been posted as SP or superintendent of police, Coastal Security Group or CSG, Ramanathapuram. In his place now Mr. P Aravindhan would take charge as DCP, Flower Bazaar. Mr. Aravindhan was previously DCP, T, Nagar is known. Mr. D. Ashok Kumar, who was previously the SP of Coastal Security Group, would take over as the new DCP in T. Nagar.

It is important to note that deputy commissioner or DC, Washermenpet, Ravali Priya Gandhapuneni has been posted as DCP, Madhavaram and Mr. C. Kalaichelven who was the DCP, Madhavaram would be the new DCP in Washermenpet.  In another reshuffling, Dr. T. Senthil Kumar SP of Tanjavore has swapped places with Mr. S.S. Mageswaran, Commandant 11 Battalion. It is worth mentioning here that Mr. Georgy George, SP of Salem would take over as DCP, Traffic, West Chennai and Dr. S. Deepa Ganiger, DCP, Traffic West Chennai would be the new SP, Salem.

Another important reshuffle was regarding Mr. Bandi Gangadhar who is the SP, Dharmapuri, He is now posted as SP, Krishnagiri and he would take charge from Mr. Mahesh Kumar who has been posted as SP, Dharmapuri.
