CII Southern Region Entrepreneurs Awards announced

The CII Southern Region Entrepreneurs Award was presented to successful entrepreneurs from South India at an Award Ceremony held in Chennai today.
CII Southern Region has been organizing the Entrepreneurs Awards annually to encourage and showcase successful entrepreneurs from Southern Region.
In his address at the Award Ceremony, Mr R Dinesh, Chairman, CII Southern Region said, “It is the opportune time for India to strengthen the global economic equation by training and skilling its workforce and inspiring people towards entrepreneurship. With the right kind of support for skills training, the workforce can provide world-class services of the highest quality”.
The CII Entrepreneurs Awards will provide the necessary support and motivation for creating more entrepreneurs in the country and CII would continue to focus on entrepreneurship development as one of the key areas of focus in Southern Region, said Mr Dinesh.
Mr C K Ranganathan, Chairman, CII-SR Entrepreneur Award 2018 said, “The objective of this award is to recognize, showcase and provide the necessary handholding to successful entrepreneurs to scale up in their businesses”.
A conclave on New Age Entrepreneurship on the theme “Entrepreneurship in the Age of Digital Disruption” was organized as part of the event. The conclave focused on topics like Social Entrepreneurship – Making Money Impactfully; Women Entrepreneurs and their role in Digital Age; Agile leaders in Digital Age and Inner Leadership with Heartfulness.
The CII Southern Region Entrepreneurs Awards 2018 were presented to the winners in three categories viz., Entrepreneur Awards, Emerging Entrepreneur Awards and Startup Awards.
The CII-SR Entrepreneurs Award has established itself firmly as an inspirational award amongst the entrepreneurial community from Southern Region.
