The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that as there are changes happening in the climate, there are prospects of excessive sweating for the residents in 10 interior districts in Tamil Nadu from 25th March for a few days.

The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, Puviyrasan, shared in this regard:

Due to some changes happening in the climate conditions, it is expected that the humidity level will increase in the interior districts of Tamil Nadu. Due to this, there are prospects of excessive sweating for the residents in a few places of 10 interior districts of Tamil Nadu Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Trichy, Karur, Dindigul, and Madurai for a few days from 25th March. This would naturally exhaust the body and will create tiredness. So, care must be taken to drink sufficient quantity of water! It may be noted that sweating will occur even when choosing to stay in the residence itself!`

As per the temperatures recorded at 5.30 PM yesterday (Thursday, 21st March), a maximum of 102 Degrees was at Salem. Karur Paramathi recorded 102 Degrees. Madurai, Trichy, and Tiruthani recorded 100 Degrees.
