Applications to receive a temporary licence to set up cracker shops for Deepavali can be made before 31st August!

Thiruvarur District Collector Anand has informed that the individuals interested in setting up cracker shops for the coming Deepavali festival in the districts of Thiruvarur can apply for getting the temporary licence before 31st August.
In a news report regarding this, he has mentioned:
The state government of Tamil Nadu traditionally issues temporary licences allowing the setting up of cracker shops for a period of 30 days every year. Accordingly, for this year 2019, online applications for the same are set to be received.
As above, the individuals interested in setting up temporary cracker shops can apply online before 31st august.
Online applications maybe submitted at the government E-service centres or General Service centres with other details attached such as the map of the location of the cracker shop, the documents regarding the ownership of the place, The original Chit for paying the Rs. 500, Address proof, the receipt from the local administration, and 2 passport-size photographs.
The Departments of the Police and Revenue will scrutinize and check the applications and subsequently, the temporary licences will be issued.
