Coronavirus status Tamil Nadu: 161 affected - total 2,323; 1,258 persons recovered!

The state department of health has informed that with 161 more persons being confirmed with coronavirus infection, the total number of affected persons has increased to 2,323.
As a preventive measure against the spreading of the raging coronavirus pandemic, the lockdown has been imposed throughout the country until 3rd May.
However, with more and more persons getting tested with the symptoms getting confirmed with infection, the number of persons affected have been rising steeply with every passing day!
The Central health Department has informed that the number of total persons affected has increased to 34,780. So far, 1,151 lives have been lost. 9,068 persons have recovered, discharged, and returned home.
In this situation, the health department has informed that 161 persons more have been confirmed with infection!
- In Tamil Nadu, 1,258 persons have recovered, discharged, and returned home. Today, 48 persons have recovered and were discharged.
- Today, no loss of lives has been reported on this front! Total lives lost is 25.
- 31,375 persons are under house-monitoring. 40 are under government-monitoring.
- In Tamil Nadu, so far, 1,10,718 tests have been undertaken. 9,643 tests have been conducted on a single day today (30th April).
- Corona testing is being carried out in the maximum number of centers in India - 45 - in Tamil Nadu. 1035persons are under treatment.
- In the newly affected list of 161, 8 are children.
- So far, 54.15% have recovered in Tamil Nadu.
- As population density is very high in the Chennai Metro City, this has posed a challenge to bring the virus under control!
- So far, none of the people who have recovered have been attacked a second time with coronavirus!
- 11 districts have been affected today in Tamil Nadu.
- Out of the affected persons, 1,553 are men. 770 are women.
- There has been a trend of orange zones getting into red zones in the state of Tamil Nadu!
