Time extension given until 30th September for renewal of driving licence/vehicle insurance!

The Central Government has announced that time extension has been given up to 30th September to renew the Driving Licence and the vehicle Insurance.
Lockdown condition was imposed from end of March throughout the country as a preventive action against the spreading of the raging coronavirus pandemic.
After there were 4 phases of lockdown were completed, the 5th Phase was announced with some more relaxations in the regulations and under the title ‘Unlock-1’, these relaxations were announced by the central government.
Meanwhile, issues such as renewal of licences and vehicle insurance which were closed entirely during the lockdown period, the central government had given time extension earlier for these until 30th June and the documents would be valid.
In this scenario, the central government further announced an extension for these until 31st July.
Now, the central government ministry/department of road transport has announced a further extension until 30th September for the renewal of driving licence and vehicle insurance. So, the vehicle owners can take the necessary action without any penalty and renew!
