Metrological Department has forecasted rains in Tamil Nadu today

Metrological Department has announced that there may be sporadic rains in Tamil Nadu because of the low depression in Arabian Sea. South West Monsoon has been intensified in India. As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned the rainfall because of the South West Monsoon is very less. 

The beneficiaries of this monsoon are Kerala and Karnataka States. Tamil Nadu gets a bit of rain. In the recent days, there are sporadic rains in Tamil Nadu. 

S.R. Ramanan, director of area cyclone warning centre, said , “ There is a low depression lying in the Arabian sea. Similarly there is also disturbed cloud eye in Bay of Bengal. Because of this, there will be heavy rainfalls in Kerala and Karnataka regions. There will also be rain fall in Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu today. There will be heavy showers today evening in Chennai and its suburbs.”
