Here comes a superb piece of news for the Chennaites. On Wednesday, 14th February, Ola Mobility announced the launch of its services at the Chennai international airport or MAA spanning all terminals. It is known that Ola Mobility is India`s largest ride hailing platform.
A Memorandum of Understanding or MOU has been signed between AAI or airport authority of India and Ola cabs now. It is now said that the expansion of the Ola services across 22 airports is a part of the MOU. Information is that the Ola zone at MAA would be dedicated towards pick-up of travellers.
At the zone, booking assistance would also be present to guide the travellers to enable faster services and reduced waiting time etc. Point to be noted here is that the Ola cab drivers would benefit from the cashless checkout system and payments at entry/exit points would be eliminated. Both drivers and travellers would have an improved experience. All charges would be included in a single bill itself for the travellers and it would be highly convenient. For the drivers, dedicated cost free parking or MLCP would be provided optimising operational efficiency.
It was later brought to light by Mr. Hemant Bakshi, CEO, Ola Mobility that the expansion reiterates their dedication to build a nationwide network of convenient airport transportation. From just 6 airports across India in 2022, Ola Mobility is now available at 22 airports now.
