Traffic diversion on account of Panguni festival at Mylapore temple

Panguni festival at Kapaleeswarar temple will be taking place between March 7 to March 16. Chennai city police will divert traffic as follows:
 
Vehicles will not be allowed in the following stretches: Kutchery Road towards Mathalanarayanan Street, east Chithiraikulam Street to north Chithiraikulam Street, Nadu Street and Sundareswarar StreettowardseastMada Street, RKMuttRoadtowardssouthMada Street, StMary’s Road towards R K Mutt Road junction, Dr Ranga Road towards Venkatesa Agraharam Road, Luz junction towards R K Mutt Road.
 
Vehicles moving from Royapettah High Road, Kutcheri Road and towards Mandaiveli will be diverted at Luz junction .
 
Vehicles coming from Adyar towards Luz junction will be diverted at Mandaiveli junction to V K Iyer Road, Sringeri Mutt Road, Warren Road, Dr Ranga Road, East Abiramapuram First Main Road, Luz Avenue, Nageswara Rao park, Luz Church Road, Karpagammal Nagar, Vivekananda College, P S Sivasamy Salai, Royapettah High Road to reach Luz junction.
 
Special MTC buses will be operated from Mylapore tank terminus temporarily from Amrutanjan Company to Luz Church Road on all festival days. During the temple car festival and Arupathu Moovar Peruvizha, vehicles will not be allowed to park on Sannathi Street, east Mada Street, south Mada Street, R K Mutt Road and north Mada Street.
 
Vehicles coming from east and north to Mylapore temple tank will be allowed to park on the southern side of Luz Church Road while vehicles coming from the west side can be parked on Venkatesa Agraharam Road.
