The price of the unsubsidised cooking gas cylinder has been increased by Rs. 16.50. The price of aviation fuel has also been increased by 0.6%. Petrol price has increased by Rs. 1.69 per litre. Diesel price has been raised by Rs. 0.50 per litre.
In addition, the price of the unsubsidised gas cylinder has also been increased. This extra price will be levied on customers who have used more than 12 cylinders in a year. It is to be noted that the price of the unsubsidised cooking gas cylinder was reduced by Rs. 23.50 last month.
This is the first time in 6 months that there has been an increase in the price of unsubsidised cooking gas cylinders. Fuel oil prices have raised in the international market due to the internal war in Iraq. This has led to the rise in price of unsubsidised cooking gas cylinder.
