Time extension given for selecting the AIIMS entrance exam centre

A time period has been given for the candidates who had applied to write the AIIMS entrance examination to select their preferred AIIMS exam centre until 12th March.
There are 15 AIIMS hospitals and higher education colleges located all over India functioning under the direct control of the central government.
Out of this, the candidates pursuing medical courses MBBS and post graduation will have to write and pass the entrance examination conducted by AIIMS. AIIMS entrance exam this year is scheduled to be conducted on 25th and 26th May. The basic information and the online registration were completed on 3rd January.
The candidates whose applications have been accepted will need to select their preferred AIMS entrance examination centre. The registration for this selection of preferred entrance exam centre commenced yesterday (Friday, 22nd February). The date for this registration is 3rd March.
The AIIMS Examination Committee has advised the candidates to complete their registration earlier in order to avoid the last-moment rush and problems online.
Similarly, an extension of time has been given for the candidates who are still to receive their unique identity number. Accordingly, the candidates can form the unique identity code number from today (Saturday, 23rd February) to 12th March and continue their registration.
Meanwhile, the candidates have complained that the official website for AIIMS Entrance Examination has not been functioning due to some technical problems and hence they are constrained in doing their registration online on time allotted!
