Tamil Nadu`s School Education Department has released the results of the Plus 1 exams for the 2023-24 academic year, with promising outcomes. Among the 8,11,172 students who took the exams, 7,39,539 have passed, marking a commendable pass rate of 91.17%.
A noteworthy trend is the higher success rate among female students, standing at 94.69% compared to 87.26% for males. This year`s results show a slight increase of 0.24% from the previous year.
Pass rates varied across school categories: government schools recorded 85.75%, government-aided schools 92.36%, and private schools an impressive 98.09%. Co-educational institutions achieved a pass rate of 91.61%, while girls` schools performed well with 94.46%.
A total of 1,964 schools, including 241 government ones, achieved a flawless 100% pass rate, reflecting the joint efforts of students and educators.
Results are accessible online through platforms like tnresults.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and dge.tn.gov.in. The department also ensures prompt delivery of results via SMS to registered mobile numbers.
The Plus 1 public exams were conducted diligently from March 4 to March 25. This announcement follows the recent declaration of the Plus 2 and 10th class general exam results on the 6th and 10th respectively.
