FIDA the design school - INIFD Chennai has been teaching Fashion Design & Interior Design for past 8 years. Headed by Ms S Fareeda Khan, FIDA is not only known for strong education background but also for the quality of exposure given to the students which makes it one of its kind. Our corporate partners INIFD, Annamalai University, LST London school of Trends, New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Lakme Fashion Week, Femina Miss India, IIID Indian Institue of Interior Designers help us in providing quality education to our students.
We have been partnered with Lakme Fashion Week for past 19 seasons and London Fashion Week for the past 4 seasons. 11th of February 2018 was a big day for us, where our 60 designs sparkled at the ramp leaving one and all under a spell at the New York Fashion Week 2018 making India and INIFD proud.
Our chief Mentors Ashley Rebello personal Stylist for Salman Khan – recently styled for Tiger Zinda Hai and Twinkle Khanna wife of Akshay Kumar popularly known for her book Mrs Funny Bones have been giving their design inputs to our students year after year.
From this year on INIFD is proudly associated with Manish Malhotra fondly known as the God of Fashion as a chief mentor of LST (London School of Trends). He is popularly known to have styled for famous bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, DeepikaPadukone, Alia Bhatt & many more.
We are proud to launch INIFD LST Chief Mentor Manish Malhotra #BeMyStudent online program at this occasion of our Annual Graduation Fashion Show – Ffolio 2018. Very soon we can expect him for a formal session in Chennai with our students.
Ffolio 2018 – Annual Graduation Fashion Show held on 15th April 2018 at Radisson Blu, Chennai, showcases transforming concepts into tangible designs. The students of FIDA the design school have created fabulous expressions of Fashion inspired by tradition, history, architecture, feminism, romance & colors. We are very proud to see yet another batch of students use a huge platform like Ffolio to write a fresh story with innovative inspirations. The collections clearly portray the immense amount of hard work put in by every student designer for their final graduation show. We also bring to the audience a feel of New York Fashion Week by showcasing some of their extra ordinary designs in Namma Chennai.
Recently FIDA the design school also ventured into its retail concept Aquaab by SFK curated fashion giving Chennai a contemporary and cutting-edge Indian Fashion which is created in collaboration with leading and upcoming Indian designers.
For this admission season FIDA is launching new courses such as Styling & Visual Merchandising, Interior Decoration, Photography.
