With one side UAC off Kerala Coast and UAC off Andhra Coast. The line of instability (broken wind pattern see pic) right across, North TN, South Interior Karnataka and South AP.
Chennai - Part of Chennai will get rains, if lucky whole city can get rains, while South of Chennai has better chance,
Vellore - sure shot rains today too
Thiruvannamalai - sure Rains.
Salem - Light Rains possible
Vedarnyam - Nagapttinam Belt - Rains possible.
