The meteorological centre has announced that there are prospects of rain in some places in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, 24th June.
Even though the summer is past by 1 month, the scorching has not yet abated.
A temperature above 100 degree Celsius was recorded in Chennai, Madurai, Tuticorin, Trichy, and Pondicherry on Monday, 23rd June.
Meteorological officials inform that there might be respite from heat only in July. However, due to heat convection, it has been raining in some places in Tamil Nadu.
Weather forecast informs that there would be rain on Tuesday, 24th June in some places in Tamil Nadu.
