TN Allots 4,500 Tons of Rice to Mosques – To Steam Gruel for Ramzan

On Wednesday, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha has declared the allocation of 4,500 tons of rice to the mosques for steaming gruel during the Ramzan festival.
During her statement, the chief minister said that next to the demand from the Muslim Brethren, the TN government has optioned to the entire allotment of rice to the mosques in an endeavor to make it ready for concoct.
Chief Minister has ordered the district collectors to carry out the survey the count of mosque to give out the rice.
More than 3,000 mosques all over the state will get assistance from this provision, said the chief minister.
