Petrol & diesel prices hiked

Petrol price were hiked by Rs 1.69 per litre and diesel by 50 paise per litre.
The hike effective from today, excludes local sales tax or VAT and the actual increase will be higher, varying from city to city.
Now Petrol in Chennai will cost Rs 76.93 per litre & Diesel rate will cost Rs 61.12 per litre.
