Anna University Engineering admissions begins today

Anna University Counselling for engineering admissions in the state begins today.
Counselling was earlier set to begin on June 27 but was delayed as the Supreme Court granted a week`s time to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to clear pending applications.
Each batch will have about 500 students and will take 90 minutes to complete.
As per the earlier schedule the entire process was to have been completed by July 27. Classes were expected to begin on August 1. But now the Counselling will be finished by August 4 after that the First Year Classes will begin.
