Unrest in Anna Salai: Girl College Students block roads!

Protesting against some information published in newspapers, the girl college students suddenly blocked the roads in Anna Salai.
This was a huge disturbance to the traffic in Anna Salai.
The road blocks were carried out by girl college students at Tambaram, Pulianthope, and other places putting up certain demands.
Chennai Qaide Millat & Ethiraj College students joined to block traffic on the afternoon of Friday, 18th July. This was a protest against an article under the title, ‘College Girls’, published in a particular newspaper. The road block was near Spencer Plaza in Anna Salai.
Police arrived at the spot immediately and successfully negotiated with the girl students to give up blocking roads.
This incident created a sensation in the main road of Chennai city, Anna Salai.
