Self-defense class at Chennai Corporation School

The City Corporation and Vajra, an NGO, will organize a self-defense programme at Thiruvanmiyur corporation school on Tuesday.
It will provide training in krav maga, a martial art form from Israel, to girl students between ages of 13 to 16 years. In March 2013, the ministry of human resource development had directed state governments to include self-defense training part of physical education for girls.
